Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures across all areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Clean floors using appropriate methods such as floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and floor equipment to restore shine and hygiene.
• Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing for clients.
• Use cleaning detergents and supplies effectively while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways, through outdoor work experience.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service that fosters trust and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles, with knowledge of janitorial practices preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
• Ability to implement proper sanitation procedures and handle cleaning supplies safely.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within scheduled timeframes.
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their cleaning needs.
• Prior experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
