Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Dietary Aid to work 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Typical Responsibilities Include
- Assisting in preparation of the salad bar
- Ensuring the dining room and kitchen remain clean at all time
- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and unit supplies
- Operating the dish machine
- Assisting the Cook as needed
Qualifications
- Comply with established guidelines for sanitation and safety
- Set up the salad bar and prepare vegetables, salads and other salad bar items in a neat and orderly fashion
- Ensure the salad bar displays an attractive and tasteful appearance
- Utilize portion control guidelines when preparing food
- Record dish machine temperatures as required
- Follow cleaning assignments of the dining room and kitchen area daily
- Interact well with patients in the serving line providing good customer service and offer assistance when needed
