Role Description This full-time Attorney role is a hybrid position based in Greenville, NC, with flexibility for some work from home. The Attorney will represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, and related issues, using litigation negotiation and collaborative law methods whenever appropriate. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, providing legal advice, conducting legal research, drafting agreements and other legal documents, and preparing for and attending hearings or mediations. The Attorney will work closely with colleagues and staff to develop effective case strategies, maintain accurate case files, and ensure responsive, professional client communications. The role also involves staying up to date on relevant North Carolina laws and regulations and contributing to firm initiatives that promote a healthier approach to family law.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law and demonstrated experience in family law and related practice areas.
- One year litigation experience

- Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice and guidance tailored to clients’ needs and goals.
- Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to North Carolina practice.
- Effective Negotiation skills, with a commitment to collaborative and solution-oriented approaches.
- Active license to practice law in North Carolina or eligibility for prompt admission.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting motions, agreements, and client correspondence.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and respectful client service.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, collaborating in-office in Greenville, NC and working independently from home as needed.
