Job Description
As the Travelling Superintendent, you will report into regional leadership and take full ownership of on‑site project delivery across multiple retail environments.
- Lead day‑to‑day site operations on remodels, renovations, additions, and select ground‑up projects up to $35M
- Manage subcontractors, site safety, scheduling, quality control, and client coordination
- Oversee big‑box and grocery remodels, ensuring work is delivered on time and to specification
- Drive project documentation, reporting, and cost controls through Procore
- Coordinate inspections, permitting, close‑out documentation, and punch lists
- Enforce safety standards and company operating procedures across all sites
- Travel extensively (approximately 90%), supporting projects primarily across the southern and southeastern United States
The Successful Applicant
Or The Travelling Superintendent Role, We Are Seeking
- Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent for a general contractor
- Strong background in big‑box retail and grocery remodels
- Prior experience delivering projects for major national retailers (Walmart experience highly preferred)
- Mandatory proficiency with Procore and strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to manage fast‑paced, occupied remodel environments
- Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively nationwide
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
