Job Description

This Traveling Superintendent job will entail:

• Manage all on-site construction operations from mobilization through project closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to maintain project schedule and budget
• Lead daily site operations including logistics, sequencing, and workforce coordination
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and building codes
• Maintain detailed project documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and schedules
• Conduct site inspections and oversee quality control to ensure work meets project specifications
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
• Mentor field staff and support the development of junior superintendents
• Travel nationally to support projects as required

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Experience with ground-up construction projects preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally for project assignments
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics
• Experience working with subcontractors and managing field teams
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
