Job Description
As the Project Engineer, reporting to a Project Manager within the Federal Division, you will support planning, coordination, and project execution on large-scale federal construction programs.
- Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and schedule updates
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field leadership
- Support quality control processes and ensure compliance with federal standards
- Track project costs, quantities, and financial documentation
- Assist with procurement and buyout activities
- Support safety initiatives and site compliance
- Contribute to smooth project operations while gaining training in federal processes
The Successful Applicant
For The Project Engineer, We Are Seeking
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 1-4 years of construction experience with a general contractor
- Open to national travel for federal project sites
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
- Willingness to learn federal project requirements and compliance standards
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project preferred)
- Strong teamwork and problem‑solving mindset
