Job Description

As the Project Engineer, reporting to a Project Manager within the Federal Division, you will support planning, coordination, and project execution on large-scale federal construction programs.

  • Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and schedule updates
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field leadership
  • Support quality control processes and ensure compliance with federal standards
  • Track project costs, quantities, and financial documentation
  • Assist with procurement and buyout activities
  • Support safety initiatives and site compliance
  • Contribute to smooth project operations while gaining training in federal processes

The Successful Applicant

For The Project Engineer, We Are Seeking

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 1-4 years of construction experience with a general contractor
  • Open to national travel for federal project sites
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Willingness to learn federal project requirements and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project preferred)
  • Strong teamwork and problem‑solving mindset
