Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Lead all day‑to‑day on‑site construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule
  • Develop, manage, and update project schedules and short‑term look‑ahead plans
  • Enforce site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, building codes, and company standards
  • Maintain a strong on‑site presence to monitor workmanship, sequencing, and overall jobsite organization
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve field issues
  • Conduct daily site meetings, safety talks, and progress reviews
  • Review and assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation using construction management software
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to high quality expectations

  • Proven field leader with experience managing commercial interior renovation or fit‑out projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and quality control
  • Hands‑on superintendent who maintains a consistent on‑site presence
  • Safety‑focused mindset with the ability to enforce OSHA requirements and site safety standards
  • Confident coordinator of subcontractors, vendors, and multiple trades
  • Proactive problem solver who anticipates issues and addresses them before they impact schedule or budget
  • Clear and professional communicator with project managers, clients, designers, and trade partners
  • Comfortable working on technically complex projects, often in occupied or operational spaces
  • Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to manage schedules, look‑aheads, and daily reporting
  • Collaborative team player who aligns with a transparent, relationship‑driven company culture
  • Accountable, dependable, and committed to delivering high‑quality work on time and on budget
  • Leads by example and takes pride in craftsmanship, jobsite professionalism, and client satisfaction
