Job Description
The Superintendent - Commercial Construction - NoVA will:
- Oversee day-to-day onsite construction activities from preconstruction through project completion
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for all field operations
- Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to ensure successful project execution
- Mentor and guide junior superintendents and field staff
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting using Procore and related tools
- Ensure projects meet budget expectations, timelines, and company standards
- Work across a range of commercial projects including community, education, and retail builds
The Successful Applicant
The Superintendent - Commercial Construction - NoVA Will Have
- Experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up projects ($15M )
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior team members
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
- Willingness to adopt new technologies, including AI-driven processes
- Ability to travel to project sites across Northern Virginia and surrounding areas
