Description
- As a Staff Accountant you well help manage the general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and analyze budgetary performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits.
- Work with treasury and tax to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Contribute to process improvements within the accounting department.

A successful Staff Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Two plus years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Understanding of trust accounting is preferred.
- Experience with cash flow reporting and treasury functions is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
