Job Description

• Lead preconstruction efforts, including budgeting, scheduling, and planning for self-perform construction projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate cost estimates and value engineering solutions.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, bid preparation, and contract negotiations.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Work closely with clients to understand project goals and deliver tailored solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project handoff and execution.
• Track and report on preconstruction progress, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to maintain competitive advantage.

The Successful Applicant

• A strong background in self-perform construction and preconstruction management.
• Proven ability to lead and manage preconstruction teams and processes.
• Excellent analytical skills for estimating and value engineering.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency in construction software and tools for budgeting and scheduling.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
