Job Description
- Lead project and process engineering efforts across equipment, automation, facility, and production improvement projects.
- Build, mentor, and guide a high‑performing engineering team.
- Develop capital project business cases and secure internal approvals.
- Create project schedules and deliver progress updates to leadership.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
- Develop equipment specifications, RFQs, bid comparisons, and vendor negotiations.
- Manage installations, utilities, commissioning, and validation support activities.
- Oversee PFMEA development and foundational engineering processes.
- Support production troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide CAD layouts and 3D mechanical support when required.
- Prepare technical reports and corrective action responses as needed.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 7-10 years of project or manufacturing engineering experience within a regulated environment.
- Strong background in equipment design, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD layout development.
- Experience with plant expansion, high‑speed equipment, or automation preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
- Skilled in developing PFMEAs, timelines, and risk‑based project decisions.
- Hands‑on understanding of production processes such as mixing, encapsulation, bottling, and labeling.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.
