Job Description
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for ground-up construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather and verify project requirements and data.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate them during the estimation process.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain and update cost databases and records to ensure competitive and precise estimates.
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure project success.
- Provide cost analysis and value engineering recommendations to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide technical guidance as needed.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Sr. Estimator Should Have
- Strong experience in ground-up construction projects within the Property industry.
- Proven ability to analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of construction costs, materials, and methods.
- Proficiency with construction estimation software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with stakeholders and suppliers.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
