Description

  • Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and enhance product quality.
  • Analyze supplier performance metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Support new product introduction by ensuring supplier readiness and compliance.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align supplier quality standards with company goals.
  • Ensure adherence to all engineering and manufacturing regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers to drive continuous improvement.

Profile

A successful Senior Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

  • BS degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, IPC-A-610, etc.).
  • Experience with supplier audits and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in quality tools: FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information

Desired Skills and Experience

- 5 years in supplier or manufacturing quality engineering.
