Job Description
- Oversee all phases of major construction projects, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
- Serve as the primary client interface-building trust, leading progress discussions, and maintaining long‑term relationships.
- Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, forecasting, and risk management.
- Review and coordinate design documents, RFIs, submittals, and technical details with architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and support staff; help foster a high‑performing project team environment.
- Manage contracts, change management, cost controls, pay applications, and financial reporting.
- Partner with preconstruction teams to support early estimating, logistics planning, and constructability analysis.
- Oversee field operations collaboration, ensuring project execution aligns with the company's standards and client commitments.
- Represent the company professionally with owners, design firms, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
- 10-15 years of project management experience leading large commercial, healthcare, institutional, or complex multi‑phase projects.
- Proven ability to manage teams on high‑visibility, high‑value construction projects.
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and client‑relationship skills.
- Deep understanding of project financials, scheduling, logistics planning, and contract administration.
- Ability to drive collaboration between office and field teams, with a commitment to proactive problem‑solving.
- Experience with alternative delivery methods such as CM/GC, design‑build, or integrated project delivery (IPD).
- A track record of developing and mentoring junior staff.
- Base Salary: $120,000 - $145,000
- Total Compensation (with bonus): $140,000 - $185,000
- Bonus Range: 10-20%
- Vehicle/Allowance: $750 - $1,200/month
