New Jersey based construction firm known for delivering complex institutional and commercial projects. Due to a significant increase in awarded work and a strong multi-year pipeline, the firm is expanding its on-site leadership team to support a major upcoming project.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the on-site lead overseeing all phases of construction from mobilization through closeout
- Directly manage and mentor a project team of 5-6, including Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
- Maintain full responsibility for project cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting
- Coordinate closely with the Superintendent to ensure field execution aligns with project plans
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact for ownership, design teams, and consultants
- Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, change management, and buyout
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations

Profile
A successful Senior Project Manager should have:
- Cost Plus GMP Experience is a MUST
- Public Project Experience $50M is a MUST
- Proven expertise in managing complex construction projects within the property industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
