Senior Project Manager- Commercial Interiors - Rahway, NJ

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial interior construction projects simultaneously, ranging in value from $5M to $20M. This individual will serve as a key leader, driving project success through strategic management, strong communication, and deep industry expertise.

Description

• Manage multiple commercial interior construction projects concurrently, each ranging from $5M to $20M in value.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution from preconstruction through closeout.
• Provide strong direction to project teams, including Assistant PMs, Superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and key project stakeholders.
• Monitor job progress, cost reporting, change orders, risk management, and quality control.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, safety standards, and contractual requirements.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting minutes, progress reports, and financial tracking.
• Drive accountability, uphold high performance standards, and maintain project timelines and budget integrity.

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:

• Brings 15 years of experience working for a general contractor, specifically within commercial interior construction.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects valued between $5M-$20M.
• Offers exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Has a proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Possesses strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and project finance.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment, makes sound decisions under pressure, and proactively resolves challenges.
