Description

The Senior Production Manager will be involved with:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a multi-year strategy for machine shop operations to support growth and innovation.
• Operational Oversight: Manage and align various production areas (e.g., machining, press operations, inspection) to ensure efficiency and collaboration.
• Lean & CI Initiatives: Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement efforts to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Team Development: Mentor and support team members, fostering leadership growth and technical skill development.
• Performance Management: Own and drive KPIs related to safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, supply chain, quality, and finance teams to meet production goals.
• Technology & Innovation: Promote adoption of automation, advanced technologies, and best practices to maintain industry leadership.
• Change Leadership: Support cultural transformation focused on empowerment, engagement, and continuous improvement

Profile

A successful Senior Production Manager should have the following qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, with multi-department oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Demonstrated success implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or CI methodologies.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Experience in CNC machining, tooling, or precision manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.
