Job Description
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, and hard-bid estimates for projects $5M
- Lead preconstruction efforts from pursuit through GMP and buyout
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals
- Collaborate with ownership, operations, and project management teams
- Participate in budgeting, value engineering, and scope reviews
- Assist in developing bid strategies and winning work
- Mentor junior team members within preconstruction and operations
The Successful Applicant
- 5 years of experience in estimating or preconstruction management
- Proven experience bidding and winning projects $5M
- Background across multiple commercial sectors; healthcare experience a plus
- Stable work history (non-jumpy candidates strongly preferred)
- Team-oriented mindset; collaborative personality over lone-wolf style
- Based in the Upstate SC market (Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, etc.)
- Open to relocation; local candidates will move faster
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Competitive base salary ranging from USD 100.000 to 130.000.
