Job Description
- Lead electrical design work, including schematics, PCB layout, and BOM ownership.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues across development, production, and field returns.
- Partner with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and supplier teams to improve system performance.
- Support production builds, test processes, and on‑site troubleshooting with global manufacturing partners.
- Contribute to reliability, cost‑reduction, and design‑for‑manufacturability initiatives.
- Prepare hardware for regulatory testing and support EMC and safety certification for U.S. and EU markets.
- Build, test, and validate prototypes while documenting findings and driving engineering improvements.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Electrical Engineer Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years experience designing electronics for consumer products or medical devices.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to propose creative, effective solutions.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; able to document work clearly for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a small engineering team.
- Hands‑on experience with electronics assembly, repair, rework, and debugging.
- Proficiency using standard electrical lab equipment for bring‑up and troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating electronics into mechanically complex assemblies.
- PCB design experience.
- Familiarity with regulatory testing and certification processes.
