Job Description
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, this individual will be responsible for:
- Developing designs to meet new product requirements
- Participating in design improvements and sustaining engineering
- Checking drawings, coming up with functional dimensioning schemes, GD&T and ASME compliance
- Responsible for DFM of products.
- Lead 5S activities.
- Perform statistical analyses.
- Analyze test data.
- Use GD&T.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams.
The Successful Applicant
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years of design engineering experience.
- Proficient in CAD software for modeling and creating complex assemblies.
- Ability to perform FEA analysis.
- Knowledge of robotics, motion control systems, casting.
- Capable of generating ASME Y14.5 compliant drawings.
- Experience reading blueprints.
- GD&T experience.
