Job Description
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with growth targets and operational capacity
- Define and optimize go-to-market approaches across direct sales, distribution, and strategic accounts
- Set revenue and margin targets while driving forecasting accuracy and accountability
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities across new markets, verticals, and customer segments
- Lead, mentor, and develop a nationwide team of sales leaders and representatives
- Design scalable territory models and organizational structures to support growth
- Establish clear KPIs, performance expectations, and accountability standards
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of the sales organization
- Build and maintain relationships with key national and strategic accounts
- Lead high-level negotiations, long-term contracts, and pricing strategies
- Ensure the team effectively communicates technical value and service capabilities
- Represent the organization in industry engagements and partnership opportunities
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, technical teams, and finance to align on delivery and capacity
- Support product launches, service rollouts, and market expansion initiatives
- Drive pricing discipline, contract compliance, and margin optimization
- Own CRM strategy, pipeline visibility, and forecasting processes
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and KPIs to inform decision-making
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree required; technical or business disciplines preferred
- 10 years of progressive B2B sales experience, including national leadership responsibility
- Proven success leading multi-region teams in industrial, manufacturing, or technical sectors - ideally with metalworking (lubricants / fluid experience)
- Experience managing a mix of direct and channel/distributor sales models
- Strong background in pricing strategy, margin optimization, and forecasting
- Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales performance analytics
