Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Quality Manager are:
- Lead and manage all quality programs, certifications, and compliance initiatives in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Develop, maintain, and update quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions
- Establish and track quality objectives, KPIs, and management review reports
- Plan and oversee:
- Internal audits
- Incoming and in-process inspections
- Final product inspections
- First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102
- Generate and manage quality documentation, including:
- Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
- Production Submission Warrants (PSWs)
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Quality Manager Will Have
- U.S. Citizenship (ITAR requirement)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience managing quality systems within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
- Experience with audits, inspections, CARs, and FAI processes
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
