Job Description
- Support engineering and inspection teams with PMP requirements and ensure product designs align with approved data and customer quality flow-downs.
- Develop and deliver training programs for new hires and team members on quality systems, documentation, and compliance activities.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance quality processes and procedures to maintain stringent internal and external standards.
- Work independently to manage quality initiatives, resolve issues, and drive improvements without close supervision.
- Ensure supplier and vendor compliance with required quality flow-downs and standards.
- Analyze quality trends, provide guidance, and ensure effective controls are applied across operations.
- Lead the development, modification, and maintenance of quality evaluation systems, inspection protocols, and control processes.
- Conduct part inspections using various measurement tools to verify compliance with engineering specifications.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and aerospace quality systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Hands-on experience with CMM equipment and inspection tools.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
- Independent, proactive mindset with strong multi-tasking capability.
- Experienced leader with the ability to mentor and manage diverse personalities.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of relevant professional experience.
