Description
- Support and maintain site quality systems in line with ISO 9001, GMP, FDA, and customer requirements
- Lead internal, customer, and third‑party audits from preparation through close‑out
- Manage document control, SOP updates, and change management activities
- Lead root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and FMEA
- Develop, implement, and track CAPAs to ensure long‑term effectiveness
- Own customer complaint investigations and prepare clear, professional responses
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to reduce defects and improve process capability
- Provide quality support on the manufacturing floor, including deviations and nonconformances
- Support new product introductions, validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), and process changes
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Profile
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- 3 years of Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing
- Hands‑on experience with ISO 9001,audits, CAPAs, root cause analysis, and complaint management
- Strong working knowledge of GMP and quality management systems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Lean, Six Sigma, or quality certifications preferred
- Experience with regulated or certified environments (e.g., organic, specialty standards) is a plus
