Description
- Act as the on-site quality representative and manage the quality control team.
- Oversee and continuously improve the company's quality system across all departments, including engineering, production, logistics, and support.
- Implement quality concepts and ensure compliance in factory operations and processes.
- Review and approve operational procedures, product-specific processes, and testing protocols (ATR/ATP).
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) projects and write quality plans.
- Conduct internal audits and audits with subcontractors/suppliers.
- Handle defect and deviation requests, including Material Review Board (MRB) activities, with authority to approve or reject.
- Investigate significant defects and customer complaints, define corrective and preventive actions, and prepare reports.
- Collect and analyze quality data to recommend improvements and preventive measures.
- Maintain risk assessment surveys for processes and review final inspection reports.
- Execute and report on corrective actions for special processes.
Profile
- Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronics fields.
- Strong background in quality control of mechanical parts and manufacturing processes.
- In-depth knowledge of quality systems, audits, and compliance standards.
- Ability to manage defect investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and customer quality interactions.
- Skilled in writing quality plans, conducting risk assessments, and analyzing quality data.
- Familiarity with operational procedures, testing protocols, and special process corrections.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as FMEA, root cause analysis, and statistical quality methods.
