One of their core markets include manufacturing facilities, where they perform as both GC and Subcontractor for concrete, steel, and metal building scopes. They are seeking a Project Manager or high-level Assistant Project Manager to join their Huntsville office and help drive the continued growth of that business. Travel is not an expectation with this role, as most all projects will be within the North AL area.
Description
- Seek out and obtain bid invitations from prospective and existing clients
- Work alongside the regional VP and Project Superintendents to oversee entire project staff
- Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance
- Build and maintain rapport with architects, vendors, in-house labor crews, and external subcontractors as needed
- Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
- Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
- Manage budget and financial reporting
- Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
- Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions
Profile
- 5 years experience in Construction Project Management
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred
- Experience with ground-up projects is required
- Experience managing self-perform / in-house crews is a major advantage
- OSHA certification preferred
- Proficient in project management software
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Desire to work in North AL

Seeking a Construction Project Manager capable of managing large self-perform Concrete, Metal Building, Steel Erection, and full-cycle construction projects from inception to closeout. The right candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Commercial or Industrial Construction as a Project Manager.
