Project Manager- Packaging

The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate projects within Packaging industry, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Description

• Manage multiple customer packaging projects from initial briefing through tooling, production, and launch
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales, engineering, quality, sourcing, and global manufacturing teams
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk assessments
• Coordinate sample development, approvals, qualifications, and change management
• Track project costs, tooling investments, and margin considerations
• Proactively identify risks related to timing, quality, or feasibility and drive corrective actions
• Ensure projects comply with customer standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality processes
• Prepare and deliver clear project updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in project execution and communication

Profile

A successful Project Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 3-7 years of project management experience, preferably in packaging, cosmetics, consumer goods, or manufacturing
• Proven experience managing cross-functional and international teams
• Strong understanding of product development cycles, tooling, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PLM, ERP, or project management tools is a plus
• Willingness to work across time zones and support global teams
