Description
As the Project Manager - Municipal Construction, you will report to a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive and take ownership of projects from early planning through turnover.- Manage full lifecycle delivery of ground‑up municipal construction projects
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and change management
- Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, consultants, and inspectors
- Lead communication with municipal clients, architects, and governing bodies
- Ensure compliance with public procurement requirements and documentation
- Drive quality, safety, and schedule performance across all phases
- Support preconstruction efforts, including estimating and constructability reviews
Profile
For the Project Manager - Municipal Construction we are seeking:- Proven experience delivering ground‑up construction projects as a Project Manager
- Strong preference for municipal or public‑sector projects such as fire stations, courthouses, city halls, or similar civic facilities
- Solid understanding of public bid processes, compliance, and reporting requirements
- Demonstrated ownership of project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
- Experience working closely with owners, architects, and public stakeholders
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
