Project Manager- Government Projects

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a ground-up, tilt-up office building project in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role requires proven experience delivering government and tilt-wall projects from inception through closeout.

Description

• Oversee the full lifecycle of a ground-up tilt-up office building project, including pre-construction coordination, scheduling, budget control, and subcontractor management.

• Lead weekly OAC, subcontractor, and internal project meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective progress tracking.

• Maintain strict compliance with project specifications, government regulations, safety standards, and quality control requirements.

• Collaborate closely with field teams, superintendents, design partners, and client stakeholders to proactively resolve issues and keep the project on schedule.

• Manage project documentation - RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay apps, and closeout materials.

Profile

• 5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager on ground-up construction projects, with a strong focus on government and tilt-up buildings.

• Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance on multimillion-dollar projects.

• Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills, with the ability to build trust and keep teams aligned.

• Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

• Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a commitment to delivering quality work.
