Job Description

The Project Manager - Fast-Growing GC - Fredericksburg, VA will:

• Managing projects from preconstruction through turnover across municipal, interiors, civil, and JOC scopes
• Walking jobs with clients and supporting multiple weekly site visits (office‑based with field presence)
• Building detailed line‑item estimates; utilizing RS Means/Gordian to price work
• Scoping work, developing proposals, and exporting estimates into legal contract formats
• Directly interfacing with clients, partners, and subcontractors
• Supporting a high volume of pre‑negotiated work and repeat‑client relationships
• Helping establish workflows, culture, and operational processes for a new office
• Representing the business with professionalism, responsiveness, and leadership

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager - Fast-Growing GC - Fredericksburg, VA will have:

• Background in civil construction, commercial interiors, JOC, or general contracting (field‑driven career paths welcome; degree not required)
• Strong estimating and client‑facing experience, with familiarity in building line‑item estimates
• Experience with RS Means, Gordian, or Procore (preferred but not mandatory)
• Highly punctual, responsive, prepared, and professional in all interactions
• Tenacious, excited, and passionate approach to construction and client service
• Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership potential-comfortable operating in a new, fast‑growing office environment
• Preferred certifications: OSHA‑10/30, Procore, First Aid/CPR
