Job Description
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects from conceptual through hard bid
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop detailed scopes of work
- Lead or support preconstruction efforts including budgeting, value engineering, and bid preparation
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local clients, consultants, and trade partners
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the Nevada construction market
- Collaborate closely with operations and leadership teams to ensure seamless project handoff
- Support business development efforts through networking, client meetings, and market intelligence
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in construction estimating (commercial GC experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and local subcontractor markets
- Existing relationships within the Nevada construction community is highly desirable
- Comfortable operating in a hybrid role that blends estimating and client-facing BD work
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
