Job Description
Operational Leadership
- Provide oversight and support for all site operations, ensuring alignment across production, quality, shipping/receiving, purchasing, and accounting
- Act as a senior leader and escalation point for floor personnel, fostering trust, engagement, and open communication
- Partner closely with the Production Manager to drive safe, efficient, and predictable daily operations
- Oversee quality control processes and ensure adherence to customer and regulatory requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, throughput, and operational consistency
- Ensure shipping and receiving operations support on‑time delivery and inventory accuracy
- Lead and mentor indirect and support functions, reinforcing accountability and performance expectations
- Collaborate with engineering through a dotted‑line relationship, supporting manufacturability, process improvements, and program execution
- Work closely with the Accounting/Finance Manager on P&L visibility, cost controls, and operational decision‑making
- Serve as a stabilizing leadership presence during ongoing organizational maturation
- Help reinforce a professional, structured, and scalable operating model across the site
- Support talent development and retention through active leadership and engagemen
The Successful Applicant
- Proven leadership experience in an operations or plant‑level management role
- Strong preference for experience in metals, fabrication, machining, or contract manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated success leading both direct labor and support functions
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000
