Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will report to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Develop both conceptual and detailed mechanical designs for automated systems and integrated work cells.
- Engineer mechanical components, subassemblies, and custom modifications to industrial automation equipment.
- Design pneumatic systems and specify related components.
- Select appropriate sensors and electrical components to support system functionality.
- Perform engineering analyses and calculations to validate structural integrity, performance, and manufacturability.
- Produce accurate, timely designs using 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and technical documentation tools.
- Prepare technical content for customer proposals and project deliverables.
- Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentation throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Manage multiple active design projects while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies relevant to automation equipment and mechanical design.
- Represent the engineering team with professionalism and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Perform additional engineering support tasks as needed.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience designing industrial automation equipment, machinery, or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks strongly preferred).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
