Job Description

• Perform microbiological testing, including USP /, to ensure product compliance with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 111 requirements.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and sanitation verification to maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
• Investigate Out of Specification (OOS) results and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Author and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to microbiology and quality control processes.
• Support manufacturing operations by providing microbiological expertise and guidance.
• Participate in FDA audits and ensure readiness by maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality systems and ensure product safety and efficacy.
• Perform routine quality control tasks to support the production of nutraceutical and dietary supplement products.

The Successful Applicant

• A background in microbiology, biology, or a related scientific field.
• Proficiency in cGMP, GLP, and 21 CFR Part 111 regulatory requirements.
• Experience with microbiological testing methods, including USP /.
• Strong knowledge of dietary supplements or nutraceutical manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with environmental monitoring and sanitation verification protocols.
• Ability to effectively investigate and resolve OOS results and implement CAPA.
• Strong communication skills for writing SOPs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
