Manufacturing Engineering Manager

This is a highly visible leadership position that will play a key role in supporting a major expansion effort, including the launch of new manufacturing capabilities, installation of new equipment, and development of a growing thermal management product line.

Description

• Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineers, Programmers, and New Product Introduction Engineers.
• Serve as the primary engineering leader supporting machining, fabrication, tooling, and manufacturing process development.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, throughput, and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, work instructions, and process controls to support production objectives.
• Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to achieve business goals.
• Support new product introductions and scale products from development through full production.
• Lead capital equipment projects, manufacturing layouts, automation initiatives, and process optimization efforts.
• Analyze production data and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
• Champion Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies throughout the operation.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience within a machining, fabrication, precision manufacturing, or industrial production environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong background in CNC machining, tooling, process development, and manufacturing optimization.
• Experience supporting capital projects, facility expansion, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Proficiency with ERP and manufacturing systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics and D365 is beneficial.
• Candidates with extensive manufacturing leadership experience and strong technical expertise may be considered regardless of degree level.

Job Offer

• Base salary: $125,000 - $150,000
• Annual Bonus Eligible
