Commercial general contractor located in downtown Kansas City. Annual revenue is about $100M a year and portfolio consists of mainly healthcare, education, industrial, and commercial projects. Company is rapidly growing and continuously winning work. With all projects local to the Greater KC Area, they are looking for a talented Superintendent to join their growing team!
Job Description
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve issues.
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential challenges.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project success.

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Superintendent Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required
- 10 years of construction experience as a Superintendent
- Experience working on education, commercial, healthcare, or industrial construction projects.
- Experience working on $5M-$20M values of projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, market conditions, and subcontractor trades.
- Proficiency in software and construction tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Base salary up to $140k (dependent upon experience)
