Job Description
- Lead daily onsite operations for a $60M K‑12 new construction project.
- Manage all site activities including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, logistics, and inspections.
- Oversee safety programs, enforce site protocols, and ensure compliance with all public‑sector requirements.
- Collaborate closely with project management and preconstruction teams to maintain alignment on scope, budget, and schedule.
- Proactively identify risks and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
- Ensure accurate documentation, daily reporting, and use of project management platforms.
- Support and mentor Assistant Superintendents, field engineers, and site staff.
- Represent the company as a senior field leader while supporting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Lead Superintendent Should Have
- 10 years of construction experience, with at least several years in a Lead Superintendent or Senior Superintendent role.
- CMR experience on public‑sector projects is required (K‑12 strongly preferred).
- Experience delivering large, complex ground‑up projects.
- Strong technical aptitude; must be tech‑savvy and comfortable operating digital platforms
- (experience with ProjectSite, Procore, or similar tools).
- Preference for candidates who have worked with top ENR‑ranked builders.
- Excitement for joining a growing regional office with an all‑hands‑on‑deck mentality.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Local to NC or willing to relocate.
