Description
- Develop and execute strategies to secure foundation, corporate foundation, and government funding
- Research, identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward institutional donors and prospects
- Expand the institutional donor pipeline through prospect lists, profiles, and briefing materials
- Partner with programs and education teams to align funding opportunities with initiatives
- Lead proposal development, contract administration, and grant management
- Manage reporting requirements, including interim and final grant reports
- Oversee relationships with current institutional funders while cultivating new ones
- Coordinate strategic engagement of funders through events and organisation initiatives
- Ensure best practices in institutional fundraising processes and compliance
- Manage and mentor a direct report within institutional giving

A successful Institutional Giving Assistant should have:
- Proven, results-driven institutional fundraiser with strong leadership presence
- Exceptional written and verbal communicator with advanced proposal-writing skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strategic thinker with strong research, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, in-person environment
- Deep understanding of foundation, corporate, and government funding landscapes
- Experience within media, entertainment, cultural, or education-related organizations preferred
