Description
Responsibilities:
- Investigate production issues and identify true root causes.
- Document findings and implement actionable improvement plans.
- Conduct trials to reduce scrap and improve processes.
- Manage mold orders and new product introductions (20-30 active programs, expected to grow).
- Review mold designs and collaborate with suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to meet timelines and quality standards.
- Utilize SolidWorks for design review and troubleshooting.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
- Injection molding or general molding experience required.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities for customer and supplier interaction.
