Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Global Operational Excellence Manager are:
- Lead the development, deployment, and sustainment of the global Operational Excellence (OpEx) strategy.
- Implement Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and other structured CI methodologies across all sites.
- Establish standardized tools, processes, and frameworks to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize production workflows.
- Conduct operational assessments and identify improvement opportunities across global manufacturing plants.
- Develop and track KPIs for operational performance, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, reliability, cost, and delivery.
- Facilitate root‑cause analysis (RCA), kaizen events, value‑stream mapping (VSM), and process optimization projects.
- Coach plant teams in Lean, Six Sigma, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Build an organizational culture focused on accountability, standardization, and sustained performance.
- Mentor OpEx champions and site CI leaders to strengthen internal capability.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Global Operational Excellence Manager will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or process engineering.
- Proven history of leading Lean, Six Sigma, or world‑class manufacturing initiatives.
- Demonstrated success implementing large‑scale CI programs across multiple sites.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven decision‑making.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership capabilities.
