Job Description
- Design and develop user-friendly, responsive front-end interfaces for web applications.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration.
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code using modern technologies.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide feedback to designers.
- Maintain and improve the existing codebase, ensuring code quality and best practices.

A Successful Front End Engineer Should Have
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with expertise in frameworks like React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end code with back-end services.
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
- A keen eye for design and attention to detail to create polished user interfaces.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Frontend: Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
- Testing: Playwright
- Observability: Datadog
- Backend context: Ruby on Rails and Node.js on AWS, with Postgres and MongoDB
