Job Description
As the Estimator, you will report directly to the Vice President of Pre‑Construction and play a critical role in securing and shaping new work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate and competitive cost estimates from schematic design through final bid
- Managing subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope analysis to ensure complete coverage
- Preparing phase reports, bid packages, and project summaries for internal leadership
- Performing take‑offs and validating pricing assumptions with trade partners
- Collaborating closely with project management teams to align estimates with execution plans
- Maintaining strong subcontractor relationships while continuously expanding the vendor network
- Supporting smooth handoff from pre‑construction into operations
The Successful Applicant
For The Estimator Role, We Are Seeking
- Proven experience in construction estimating, ideally within commercial or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of subcontractor markets, material pricing, and bid strategy
- Proficiency with digital take‑off tools and construction software (Excel, estimating and project management platforms)
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight bid deadlines
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal teams and external partners
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and strong commercial awareness
- Base salary: $90,000 - $130,000 depending on experience
- Opportunity to be based in a major Oklahoma construction hub (Oklahoma City preferred; Tulsa also considered)
