Job Description

In this Building and Construction Estimator role you will:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.
• Analyze project requirements, blueprints, and specifications to develop comprehensive cost assessments.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate cost overruns.
• Maintain up-to-date records of costs, materials, and project timelines.
• Participate in bid preparation, including soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address questions and provide clarifications on project estimates.
