The Estimator will play a vital role in the Construction department within the Property industry, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and ensuring project budgets are effectively managed. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and maintain budgets.
  • Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Monitor project costs and provide updates to ensure budget adherence.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, budgets, and related documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive project estimates.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and methods within the Property industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A background in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
