Description
- Prepare detailed conceptual and hard bid estimates for large scale projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze drawings and specifications
- Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Support preconstruction efforts, budgeting, and cost planning
- Participate in bid reviews, scope alignment, and value engineering
- Work closely with project managers and field teams
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office tools
Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- 6-12 years of estimating experience in commercial construction
- Experience with large scale projects, preferably 25M plus
- Background in healthcare, education, public, or infrastructure work
- Strong understanding of construction methods and cost structures
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work full time in office and collaborate with estimating team
