Job Description

They key responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Technician will be:

  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair production equipment, tooling, and auxiliary machinery to ensure optimal operation.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities accurately.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Calibrate, test, and validate equipment performance to meet operational and quality standards.
  • Support production teams during equipment changeovers, setup, and adjustments.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and production to resolve equipment‑related issues.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Electro-Mechanical Technician Will Have The Following

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electro‑Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
  • 3 years of experience in an electro‑mechanical technician, maintenance technician, or related role in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of motors, gearboxes, sensors, relays, pneumatics, and control systems.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs and ability to assist with troubleshooting (is a plus).
  • Proficiency using hand tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read schematics and interpret technical documentation.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
