Description
- Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues on existing automated machinery
- Support field service technicians and customer-facing teams with technical expertise
- Design and execute electrical retrofits and controls upgrades
- Modify and support PLC, HMI, and servo-based control systems
- Create and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
- Travel to customer sites for diagnostics, installations, and system improvements
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing to resolve recurring issues
- Domestic travel up to approximately 15%
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 3 years of experience with industrial electrical controls or automation
- Strong PLC and HMI troubleshooting skills (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Experience with control panel schematics and AutoCAD Electrical
- Comfortable working directly with customers and cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel within North America
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Aftermarket or retrofit project experience
- Familiarity with UL, NEMA, and CE standards
- Experience with servo systems and industrial networks
