Job Description
- Lead day‑to‑day operations for a small North American manufacturing site, overseeing production, inventory, and customer support
- Manage a team of roughly 10 employees across production, inventory management, and support functions
- Oversee production scheduling, output quality, workflow efficiency, and delivery timelines
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customers, addressing technical and delivery needs
- Provide hands‑on engineering support, including reading, interpreting, and creating mechanical drawings
- Collaborate with global engineering teams based in Europe on technical issues and minor design work
- Maintain and improve inventory processes, materials flow, and stock accuracy
- Utilize the company's ERP system to manage production, inventory, and operational reporting (D365 preferred)
- Ensure operational compliance with internal processes, safety expectations, and quality standards
- Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Support financial and strategic planning activities with accurate operational data
- Represent the North American site in regular communication with global leadership
The Successful Applicant
- Hands‑on operations leader with experience in small to mid‑sized manufacturing environments
- Mechanical engineering background with the ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings
- Comfortable supporting light engineering tasks using SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of production workflows, inventory processes, and materials management
- ERP experience; familiarity with D365 is a plus
- Confident communicator who can work closely with customers and global leadership
- Problem‑solver who takes ownership of the site and handles both strategic and day‑to‑day tasks
- Adaptable, practical, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a lean team
- Leadership style that is approachable, steady, and focused on team performance and accountability
- Base salary between $120,000 and $140,000, based on experience.
- Bonus potential between 10K-15K
