Job Description
- Help manage ground‑up and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Drive project planning including schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor buyout.
- Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure alignment on safety, sequencing, quality, and milestones.
- Oversee documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change events, and cost tracking.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners; lead OAC meetings.
- Review and approve progress billings, pay applications, and cost forecasts.
- Mitigate risks by identifying issues early, resolving conflicts, and ensuring contract compliance.
- Support field teams with timely decisions, clear communication, and proactive problem solving.
- Ensure project delivery that meets quality, safety, schedule, and budget commitments.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience: 4-10 years of Project Management in commercial construction, ideally including multifamily experience (mid‑rise, garden‑style, mixed‑use, or similar).
- Technical strength in budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract management.
- Strong collaborator who thrives in a people‑driven culture and communicates clearly with field teams and owners alike.
- Organized and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities and maintain calm in fast‑paced environments.
- Software proficiency (Procore or similar PM platforms, MS Project or P6, Bluebeam).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or comparable experience.
