Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for commercial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to ensure scope completeness
- Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor bids
- Develop conceptual, schematic, and GMP-level budgets
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization exercises
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams during preconstruction
- Maintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes
Profile
- Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Experience producing accurate estimates across multiple project phases
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines
